Happiest sadness I've ever felt
by BreathoftheIndianNose inwow, so far 4 out of 4 "worldly" people i've talked to about my situation, actually care.
i mean ive been telling myself that most people would care.
but i can just tell, by the way i feel shocked and surprised at their genuine interest to listen and help, that subconsciously, i still feel like no worldly person cares.

If you felt/feel that you had/have good, close "friends" in the org, how did/does it feel to just give them up?
by Crisis of Conscience inthis is my biggest dilema.
although mentally i really feel i could walk away from the org right now, i still have genuine love for the people i have come to know over the years.
i love people!.

Crisis of Conscience
When I wrote this originally, I really felt it would be hard to leave my "friends". But as many have pointed out, THEY are the ones leaving us.
00DAD, you are right, if it is conditional, it ain't love!
The strange part is that so far, despite my inactivity, no one (or perhaps, I haven't noticed) has cut me off. I have shared my feelings with several close "friends", which I know is not always a good idea. But generally, I have always been well liked by everyone, so maybe that's why they haven't pulled the cord?
However, as time has progressed, I see that no matter how you look at it, around any JW's, you are always going to have to pretend in some way. Is that what real friendship is? I don't think so.
And so I am working on forming relationships outside of the org. It's coming along well, except for..... the still-believing-wife part. Oh well.
Thanks for all the new comments.

Cool nicolaou!
To all who "can't see" the message, if you have an iPhone, or perhaps some other smartphone, download a free app called RedLaser. The light will get brighter.
And thou shall seeth the message.....

If you've left JWs for Christ - will the end still come?
by flamegrilled insomething i don't see supported much on jwn is the notion that the end of this system is indeed coming, even if later than wts has predicted over the years.. now for those that have left and become complete non-believers (in the bible) that is understandable.
you guys are welcome to comment of course, but i'm far more interested in some feedback from the people who have left jws and pursued a christian course.
are you still convinced that there will be a war of armaggedon or do you now interpret the scriptures a different way?.

I can't remember the 'Most Important Date of My Life!' Can you?
by Diest ini honestly cant remember the exact date when i was baptized.
it does not bother me one bit.
i didnt have it stamped in that shitty reasoning book/babel that i got at the time, so i guess the only place i could find it would be my cards, which are far away..

Crisis of Conscience
The actual date I do know. But it may be TMI right now.
I'll just say I was 17. Not ready for marriage, or life, but ready to serve the org God forever.
